Two Republican Assembly candidates in South Jersey today won endorsements from Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Denville).
Bergen is backing Matthew Walker and Amanda Esposito in next week’s 4th district primary.
“Both candidates possess the passion, integrity, and vision needed to effectively advocate for their community’s needs,” said Bergen, a West Point graduate and retired U.S. Army combat helicopter pilot.
In a New Jersey Globe/Save Jersey debate last night, Bergen committed to campaign for Republican legislative candidates across the state after his own primary in the 26th district is over.
“Matt’s deep understanding of the district’s needs and his ability to forge partnerships will help him effectively advocate for the interests of the constituents,” said Bergen. “Amanda’s expertise will be instrumental in shaping legislation that improves education standards and expands healthcare options for all residents.”
