Cory Booker has raised $5.1 million since announcing his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination on February 1 – an impressive but not overwhelming number.
Barack Obama entered the presidential race on February 10, 2007 and raised $25.8 million during the first quarter. Joe Biden, who joined the race eleven days earlier, raised $4 million during his first two months as a 2008 presidential candidate.
Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) raised a reported $9.4 million in his first eighteen days as a presidential candidate, the El Paso Times reported.
