State Democrats’ annual conference is drawing some star power.
In addition to a slate of the state’s most powerful Democrats, including Gov. Phil Murphy, Sens. Bob Menendez and Cory Booker and all 12 of the state’s Democratic House nominees, the two-day convention will feature a speech by Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez.
“As a party, we are standing up against Donald Trump’s intolerant policies and working to affect change on the local, county, state, and federal levels,” Democratic State Chair John Currie said. “We are committed to building party support in traditionally Republican municipalities and districts across New Jersey. Together with Chairman Perez and his team at the DNC, I know we will accomplish those goals, and I thank Chairman Perez so much for his leadership not only here, but throughout our country.”
The conference will take place on Sept. 20-21 at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City.

What a perfect opportunity for Mikie to obtain a Menendez/Murphy endorsement...if Mikie doesn’t see them coming first.
