Stack says Hudson Dem bosses picked DeGise to keep them in power

Union City mayor Brian Stack’s campaign for Hudson County Democratic Chairman has sent a new direct mail piece to county committee members attacking party bosses for picking the daughter of Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise as his opponent.

“Instead of seeking someone who has a history of building an organization, the bosses decided to select a candidate whose sole purpose will be to attempt to protect DeGise’s job as County Executive,” the mailer says. “Once again, you have been taken for granted. The bosses expect you to go along with their choice for Chairperson to keep them in power. This is a complete abandonment of the mission of what a Chairperson should be doing.”
