Morris County Democratic chairman Chip Robinson wants candidates to keep it clean.
“As the Presidential primary continues, we encourage all Morris County Democrats to avoid attacking either Senator Sanders or Vice President Biden as both would be a strong representative for our Democratic values,” Robinson said. “Attacks on our Democratic candidates only help Donald Trump.
Robinson also wants the candidates looking to take on State Sen.Anthony M. Bucco (R-Boonton) to refrain from attacking each other.
“I can attest to the fact that all three of our Democratic candidates in District 25 running for State Senate – Rupande Mehta, Cliff Dawkins and Jeff Grayzel – hold strong to the ideals of our Democratic Party and would make excellent candidates for the State Senate,” said Robinson. “Negative attacks against any of our three candidates by fellow Democrats are unacceptable – let’s keep it positive and focus on the larger goal of winning the elections this fall.”
