Samantha Bender, until recently a senior legislative aide to Gov. Phil Murphy, has joined Public Strategies Impact (PSI) as a lobbyist.

“I am delighted that Samantha Bender has joined our PSI team,” PSI managing partner Roger Bodman said in a statement. “Sam’s experience in both the legislature and governor’s office will be invaluable to serving our current and future clients.”

Prior to serving in the governor’s office, Bender worked as a legislative aide to a variety of Democratic legislators, including Assemblyman Bill Moen (D-Bellmawr), Assemblywoman Carol Murphy (D-Mount Laurel), and now-former State Sen. Bob Andrzejczak (D-Middle).

PSI is among the top lobbying firms in the state; according to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), in 2022 it was the second-most successful firm in terms of receipts, earning nearly $7.6 million.
