Margaret Angeli, who served on the Teaneck Board of Education for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2011, died on March 19. She was 80. Angeli was the sister of former Assemblywoman Greta Kiernan (D-Harrington Park). In 2009, she earned the title of Master Board Member through the Board Member Academy of the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).
Samuel Toscano, Jr., a former chairman of the Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors, died on March 24. He was 72.
Babe De Ciglie, who served on the Totowa Zoning Board, died on March 24. He was 90. De Ciglie was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a Totowa police officer from 1957 until his retirement as a captain in 1983. He served on the Totowa Local Assistance Board and was active in the local Republican Party.
Helen Kremen, who had been a member of the Bergen County Division of Senior services Advisory Council, died on March 23. She was 98.
