Morris GOP still struggles for cash

Less than four months until Election Day and facing the toughest campaign in 45 years, Morris County Republicans raises just $12,119 during the second quarter of 2018 and have just $11,023 cash-on-hand.

Ron DeFilippis, elected GOP county chairman by just four votes last month, had made his fundraising skills the cornerstone of his campaign.  He had previously served as finance chairman.

Morris Republicans have a $10,000 debt and a net worth of only $2,302.

The GOP is defending a County Clerk, three Freeholders, and two congressional seats.
