Republican congressional candidate Seth Grossman will begin airing TV ads in his bid to replace Frank LoBiondo in New Jersey’s 2nd district with an attack on Senate President Steve Sweeney.
A series of ads, which the campaign says will run through election day, contrast Grossman and his Democratic opponent, State Sen. Jeff Van Drew.
The first ad blames Van Drew and Sweeney for the state’s economic woes.
“Now Sweeney wants Van Drew in Washington to do to America what they have done to New Jersey,” the ad says.
