Democratic Councilmembers Pat Gilligan and Mike Tolomeo won re-election to the Stratford Borough Council, defeating Republican challengers Edward Maenner and Nicholas Hafto, as well as independent candidate Orum Snow.

Gilligan received 1,641 votes; Tolomeo received 1,601. Maenner received 793, Hafto received 768, and Snow received 60.

Hafto is a regional sales manager, while Snow is a community activist who ran as an independent socialist. The challengers sought to break the Democrats’ hold on the governing body.

The victories preserve Democratic control of all seats on the Borough Council.

Stratford has consistently backed Democratic candidates in recent statewide elections. Harris carried the borough by 15 points in 2024, while Sherrill won it by 24 points in 2025.
