Republican National Committeeman Bill Palatucci told state GOP leaders that “there is no hiding the fact that the results in November were disappointing for many local and county organizations.”
Palatucci wants the state Republican leadership to begin a self-examination of party efforts. He wants to focus on messaging, demographics, campaign mechanics, third party groups/coalitions, and fundraising. He says 2019 Assembly candidates should be involved in the process.
“The new Vote By Mail (VBM) law and its impact on local and county races needs special focus, in particular with the 2019 races in mind,” Palatucci said.

Interesting that the one area he left out is policy. " He wants to focus on messaging, demographics, campaign mechanics, third party groups/coalitions, and fundraising. He says 2019 Assembly candidates should be involved in the process." New Jersey is a 21st century state and the GOP is run by some of the best 19th Century minds we have.
