Rep.-elect Tom Malinowski is maintaining his public silence on his committee assignment preferences.
“Not until I get ’em,” Malinowski said when asked if he’d like to discuss committee assignments.
As a former assistant secretary of state, Malinowski could be well-suited to a role on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, but he has so far been unwilling to give any indication about whether he’ll see such a role.
Rep. Leonard Lance, whom Malinowski will replace on January. 3, served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Ethics Committee.
