Gov. Phil Murphy will headline a swing-state debate watch party tonight in Pennsylvania while Tim Walz and JD Vance face off in the lone vice presidential debate.
Murphy will be in politically competitive Bucks County, which Joe Biden won by four points in 2020. In 2016, Hillary Clinton carried the county by a narrow 48.4%- 47.8%.
Two Bucks County Commissioners, Bob Harvie and Diane Ellis-Marseglia, will join Murphy.
Murphy’s visit to Pennsylvania follows Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way’s recent appearances at Black churches in Philadelphia on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Pennsylvania sits on top of the list of swing states in the too-close-to-call race between Harris and Donald Trump.
