Albert Sracic, a former mayor of Peapack-Gladstone, died on March 5. He was 92. Sracic is a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was c councilman from 1960 to 1975 and a mayor from 1975 to 1978.
Charles Ray, a former associate publisher of the Cranford Citizen & Chronicle, died on February 19. He was 82. He worked for the local newspaper from 1959 to 1967.
Maryanne Palmisano, a former Seaside Park councilwoman, died on March 7. She was 79.
Richard Hines, who served on the Edison Board of Education for twelve years, died on March 6. He was 84.
Larry DeMaio, a former Pompton Lakes councilman, died on March 6. He was 69. DeMaio was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as the Pompton Lakes Police Department records clerk and as a commissioner of the municipal utilities authority.
Peter Muratore, a former member of the Harding Board of Education, died on March 2. He was 86. Muratore served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and later served as executive vice president and executive committee member of E.F. Hutton. He later served on the Harding Zoning Board.
Bob Chiodo, who served on the Lodi school board, died on March 7. He was 71.
Chip Cece, who spent 12 years on the Carteret Zoning Board, died on March 7. He was 81. Cece was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
Lucy Majewski, a former Democratic county committeewoman in Raritan, died on March 4. She was 95.
