Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s federal political action committee has raised over $1 million since its formation after her election last year.
The PAC, Mission to Deliver, reported raising $895,640 during the first quarter of 2026, and has nearly $1 million cash-on-hand as Sherrill seeks to play a national role in electing Democratic governors and majorities in Congress in the upcoming midterm elections.
Organizers say the PAC intends to carry forward the energy from Sherrill’s gubernatorial bid last year, with a renewed focus on tackling affordability challenges.
The PAC chair, Jennifer Holdsworth, said the group “hit the ground running.”
“It speaks to a deep desire across the country to build a bench of leaders like Mikie Sherrill who put service first, and relentlessly attack problems that keep families up at night — from the cost of living, to daily commutes, to standing up for the rule of law,” Holdsworth stated.
Sherrill has already taken sides in at least one out-of-state primary, endorsing former U.S. Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath for the U.S. Senate seat in Kentucky being vacated by Republican Mitch McConnell.
Sherrill took office on January 20 and is six weeks away from reaching her 100-day mark. She has a 58% job approval rating, according to an independent poll released by Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Since she first took her seat in Congress in 2019, Sherrill has contributed to Democratic candidates across the U.S — her Gateway to Leadership PAC contributed to 41 House members–– and her annual Elect More Women event to help Democratic women running for the legislature and local office in New Jersey.
In 2024, Sherrill’s One Giant Leap PAC funded independent expenditures for Sue Altman in New Jersey’s 7th district, U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin, and Rep. Susan Wild.
“The 2026 midterms are critical for putting a check on an out-of-control president and showing Americans what a different path forward looks like,” said Holdworth. “Mikie Sherrill showed what’s possible when Democrats compete with confidence everywhere and refuse to write off anyone. Mission to Deliver is dedicated to helping more Democrats run that same race.”
So far, Mission to Deliver has spent $17,160 and has $992,685 in the bank.
The Mission to Deliver donor pool is heavily dominated by labor unions, led by $205,000 from IBEW PACs: $90,000 contribution from the New Brunswick-based IBEW Local 456, the trade union led by former Assemblyman Joseph Egan (D-New Brunswick) and his son, Assemblyman Kevin Egan (D-New Brunswick); $90,000 from the IBEW Local 164 in Paramus; and $25,000 came from the IBEW Education PAC in Washington
The International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers Political Action League contributed $100,000.
The Sherill PAC also received $50,000 from the Transport Workers Union PAC, $25,000 from Garden State Forward, a PAC affiliated with the New Jersey Education Association, $25,000 from the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Administrative District Council of New Jersey, and $5,000 from the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen PAC Fund.
Contributions of $25,000 each came from: Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Administrative District Council of New Jersey; Folglio and Associates, the firm led by former New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency Executive Director Christiana Foglio; developer Rob Kasuba; Intuit QuickBooks; Maple FW LLC in Morristown; and attorney Jaspreet Singh.
The Allied Beverage Group, a major alcoholic beverage wholesaler, donated $22,500.
Sherrill’s PAC also received $5,000 from the Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck PAC – that’s the law firm of Rosemary Becchi, Sherrill’s GOP opponent in 2020 and a candidate for Republican state chair last year.
