Gov. Phil Murphy set a record last week with the greatest number of executive orders issued in a seven-day period by a New Jersey governor.
Murphy signed eleven executive orders prepared by the Office of the Chief Counsel between April 5 and April 11, eclipsing the record of nine set by Gov. Chris Christie during his first week in office in January 2010.
Murphy has signed 127 executive orders since taking office 822 days on January 16, 2018. During the same time frame, Christie signed 93 executive orders, Jon Corzine signed 99, and James E. McGreevey signed 105.
