Democratic state chairman John Currie is hosting a fundraiser for Albany county executive Daniel McCoy next month, according to a report in the Times Union.
A spokesman for McCoy said that Currie would use the New Jersey Democratic State Committee contributor list to raise money for the New York candidate.
The published report called Currie a “power player in New Jersey politics” and “a man who helped Cory Booker get elected.”
McCoy is unopposed for re-election this year.
