Ciattarelli talks taxes and Trump in first TV ad

GOP gubernatorial candidate will put over $1 million behind an add that calls Democrats ‘out of touch’

Jack Ciattarelli launched his first TV ad in his bid for the Republican nomination for governor with a pitch that slams Trenton Democrats for being “out of touch and ruining our state.”

In “Enough,” Ciattarelli narrates his own ad, where he talks up President Donald Trump and bashes Democrats for caring “more about pronouns than property taxes.”

Script: “Trenton Democrats — out of touch and ruining our state.  They push offshore wind while our electric bills skyrocket. They raised tolls and fees, but haven’t fixed our roads. And they care more about pronouns than property taxes.  Had enough?  Me too. That’s why I’m running for governor.  I’ll work with President Trump and end Murphy’s sanctuary state on day one.  We’ll cap property taxes, stop over development, and impose term limits on Trenton. Jersey, it’s time.  And when I’m governor, time’s up for the Trenton politicians”

Ciattarelli will spend over $1 million to air the ad on broadcast, cable and digital.

He faces former NJ 101.5 anchor Bill Spadea, State Sen. Jon Bramnick (R-Westfield), former State Sen. Ed Durr (R-Logan), former Burlington City Mayor Jim Fazzone, and former Englewood Cliffs Mayor Mario Kranjac in the June 10 Republican primary.
