Bill Gallo, Jr., a respected and popular South Jersey journalist, has passed away. He was 59.
Gallo had been a longtime reporter from the South Jersey Times, covering Gloucester and Salem counties. He had been the managing editor of Today’s Sunbeam, the Salem County daily newspaper, and had written for the Gloucester County Times.

I am so sorry to read this! He was a fine journalist and a fine person—he succeeded
my father Tom Bowen has editor of Salem County’s newspaper Today’s Sunbeam, and
he always did and outstanding job.
