The Essex County Republican Committee tonight endorsed Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate. It’s the 20th organization endorsement for the former Celgene chairman, who wants to take on incumbent Democrat Bob Menendez in the fall. Only Bergen County has not yet made an endorsement.
“Bob Hugin is a man of integrity and is the senator that our state needs and that all New Jerseyans deserve,” said Essex County GOP Chairman Al Barlas. “Bob has a strong record of fighting for our state and he will be a powerful, independent voice for all New Jerseyans in Washington.”
