Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden) has $2,175,361 cash-on-hand for his re-election campaign in New Jersey’s 1st district.
Norcross raised $83,619 in the second quarter of 2026, bringing his total haul this cycle to $1,446,915.
The Camden County Democrat faces Republican Damon Galdo in the general election. Galdo reported $5,055 in his campaign account. He raised $6,868 in the second quarter, and $11,124 in total in his bid to unseat Norcross.
The 1st district is overwhelmingly Democratic. Norcross was re-elected by over 27 points in 2022 and by nearly 18 points in 2024. Kamala Harris won the district by almost 19 points in 2024, and Mikie Sherrill carried it by close to 28 points in 2025.
Republicans haven’t won the 1st district since 1972, when Rep. John Hunt (R-Pitman) was re-elected to a fourth term over Assemblyman James Florio (D-Runnemede) by 52.5% to 47%. Two years later, in a rematch during the Watergate wave election, Florio unseated Hunt, 47.5% to 38.5%.
Norcross, a former president of the South Jersey AFL-CIO, served in both houses of the New Jersey Legislature before winning a special election for Congress in 2014.
