Trump nominates Matey to Third Circuit

Paul B. Matey has been nominated by President Trump for the U.S. Court of Appeals

President Donald Trump today nominated Paul Matey, the former deputy chief counsel to Gov. Chris Christie, to serve as a circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

His nomination must now be approved by the United States Senate.

Matey is now the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at University Hospital in Newark.  He is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, and served as a law clerk to Judge Robert Cowen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
