State GOP leader endorses Webber

Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains)

Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains) has won the endorsement of Republican State Committee Vice Chair Lynda Pagliughi in his campaign to replace Rodney Frelinghuysen in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Pagliughi called Webber, a former GOP state chairman, “a great person.”

Webber also added the backing of Brian Nelson, a former executive director of the New Jersey Republican State Committee, former Passaic County Young Republican Chairman Kyle Folbrecht, and Westampton Township Committeeman Abe Lopez.  Lopez was deputy chief of staff to former Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who is one of the Republican leaders urging trucking company executive Jerry Langer to enter the race.
