A pair of New Jerseyans were re-elected to their leadership roles on the National Troopers Coalition, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Wayne Blanchard, the head of the New Jersey State Troopers union, was re-elected first vice chairman of the NTC, and State Troopers Non-Commissioned Officers Association President Daniel Oliveira was re-elected NTC’s treasurer.
“I am both thankful and honored at the overwhelming support and confidence that my colleagues from across the nation have in myself, Adam, and Dan,” Blanchard said in a release. “Their message was loud and clear that they are highly satisfied with our service and the direction the NTC is progressing to under the leadership of our board and our Chairman Nate Johnson. Our team will continue to bring the NTC to new levels while producing maximum results for the brave men and women state troopers who put their lives on the line everyday across our great nation.”
Blanchard was first elected to the role in 2023. Adam Cole of Iowa was re-elected second vice chairman — he ran on a slate with Blanchard and Oliveira.
“I am very honored to be re-elected as the Treasurer for the National Troopers Coalition and to continue to advocate for troopers across the country, along with our outstanding Executive Board,” Oliveira said. “It has been a true privilege to serve as both the President of the STNCOA and with the NTC and I look forward to serving in both of these critical roles for years to come.”
The NTC advocates for 47 state police unions and associations, and represents more than 42,000 state troopers nationwide, according to the release.
