Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg will speak on Tuesday night at a campaign rally in Philadelphia.
The former three-term New York City mayor is expected to actively compete for delegates in the June 5 Democratic primary, if his game plan works and he remains in the race until the end.
Bloomberg has brought on one of the New Jersey’s top political strategists, Michael Muller, to run his state operations.
Former Philadelphia mayor Michael Nutter has endorsed Bloomberg and is serving as his national campaign chairman.
“As Mayor of Philadelphia, I saw how communities are lifted up when we make progress on big issues: gun violence, the environment, and access to high-quality health care,” Nutter said. “Mike Bloomberg is the right candidate to take on Trump because he has a proven record of success on those issues — that’s why I’m proud to support him and honored to welcome him to my hometown.”
The event will be held at the National Constitution Center. Organizers are asking attendees to sign up.
