The New Jersey Democratic State Committee released paperwork for the registration of pledges presidential delegates Tuesday.
“The 2020 Presidential Election will be the most consequential of our lifetime and the New Jersey Democtatic State Committee is committed to running an open and transparent process for Democrats to become pledged delegates for the primary candidate of their choice,” NJDSC Chair John Currie said. “We will be working with our county party partners to provide additional information on the delegate selection process to answer questions and ensure that everyone who wishes to participate has the opportunity to do so.”
Prospective delegates must file their statements of candidacy and pledge of support forms by March 9.
Delegates are asked to direct any questions about the process to Kevin Olasanoye, the state committee’s executive director.
