Matthew Giacobbe, a power lawyer who serves as counsel for multiple public and private sector entities, has joined the advisory board of Mercury Public Affairs, one of the state’s top lobbying and public strategy firms.
Giacobbe is the managing partner of Cleary, Giacobbe, Alfieri & Jacobs and a longtime fixture in New Jersey’s legal and public affairs communities. He has built a reputation as a trusted adviser to both public- and private-sector organizations facing complex legal challenges.
“Matthew’s depth of knowledge and the perspective he brings from decades of experience in New Jersey will be a tremendous asset to Mercury and our clients as we continue to grow and provide the highest level of service to our clients,” said Mercury President Michael Soliman. “His leadership and insight will further strengthen our ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver successful outcomes.”
His law partners include State Sen. Joseph Lagana (D-Paramus), Assemblyman Sean Kean (R-Wall), former Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, and former Paramus Councilman Joseph Garcia.
Other influential New Jersey attorneys, including Lee Vartan and Henry Amoroso, also serve on Mercury’s advisory board.
“I’ve spent my career helping clients solve complex challenges, and I’m excited to bring that experience to Mercury’s Advisory Board,” said Giacobbe. “I’m looking forward to contributing my experience and perspective to support Mercury’s continued growth and its commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.”
Founded in 1999, Mercury Public Affairs is one of the nation’s largest bipartisan public strategy firms, with offices across the country and a growing presence in New Jersey.
