Capital Impact Group announced Wednesday that it had hired Tiffany Granger as senior government affairs associate.
Granger previously worked as a legislative affairs assistant and has worked in Newark’s charter school system, according to CIG.
“CIG welcomes Tiffany to our growing team of talented public affairs experts,” said CIG principal Gerry Gibbs. “She is a driven and enthusiastic political professional who we know will be a tremendous asset to CIG and the clients we serve.”
Granger recently graduated with a master’s degree from Rutgers University’s Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, according to the release.
“I knew Tiffany was a talented and dynamic woman when we first met years ago,” CIG principal Sabeen Masih said. “Today I am proud to call her a colleague. Her astute political instincts, policy understanding and energy are a tremendous addition to the CIG team.”
