Marilyn Davis, the first woman to serve as mayor of Roxbury, passed away on July 19. She was 87. Davis won a council seat in 1993 and became mayor in 1996. She did not seek re-election in 1997.
Edward Handler, a former Millburn township committeeman, died on July 5. He was 81.
