Michael McGuinness, a former Gloucester County Warden, died in July 20. He was 72. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked for the Sheriff’s Department from 1968 until his retirement in 2002. He was a councilman in Woodbury Heights from 1985 to 1988. In 1974, he was the Republican candidate for Gloucester County Sheriff.
Edward Batta, a former Roseland councilman, died on July 18. He was 82.
