Essex County Commissioner Pat Sebold released the following statement on the death of former Governor Richard J. Codey:
Governor/Senator Dick Codey was a good friend of mine for so many years. He was so caring and always did so much for his constituents. His passing is so hard to believe. The State of New Jersey has benefited so much for his wonderful contribution. My sincere condolences to his entire family.
