Assemblywoman Annette Quijano issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:
“As Chief of Staff George Helmy departs from the Murphy administration, I reflect on the privilege of working alongside such a remarkable individual. His tireless support and passion for public service have been exceptional and propelled New Jersey forward. It was an honor to have him as a colleague and I wish him the best on his new endeavors.”
