President Donald Trump has upside-down approvals of 35%-62% among likely voters in New Jersey, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released today.

More than six out of ten New Jerseyans (63%) say Congress should be “more of a check on President Trump,” a signal that several Republican congressional candidates will feel a backlash in the mid-term elections next month.

Trump is upside-down at 36%-59% among independents, and 30%-67% among women.
