2021 New Jersey Globe Year In Review

In the year that followed a presidential election conducted almost entirely through vote-by-mail ballots, New Jersey went to the opposite extreme in 2021 and opened in-person polling locations for ten days before Election Day as voters choose between Democratic incumbent Phi Murphy and GOP challenger Jack Ciattarelli in one of the most exciting gubernatorial elections in modern New Jersey history.  It was also a year that saw one of the most incredible upsets ever: a truck driver who spent practically no money unseated the most powerful legislative leader the state has ever had.
