Green Party candidate Andres Jinete will remain on the ballot in New Jersey’s 12th congressional district after a challenge from an independent also seeking the seat.

Winston Jordan, running under the slogan “Get Money Out,” dropped his ballot challenge to Jinete after determining that his challenge would not strike enough signatures to get Jinete removed from the ballot.

They are both running longshot campaigns to succeed Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing). Democrat Adam Hamawy won this month’s primary and is expected to defeat Republican Gregg Mele in the general election.
