Al Spivey joins Mercury

Mercury Public Affairs has landed a veteran of New Jersey and Pennsylvania politics to run their new Philadelphia office. Al Spivey, who spent four years as the executive director or the SEIU New Jersey State Council and worked for Rep. Bill Pascrell in his 2012 primary campaign victory against Rep. Allies Booker and Baraka filing petitions at City Hall

U.S. Senator Cory Booker will return to his roots at Newark City hall this morning, joining a one-time political rival file petitions for the mayoral election in May.
