A corrections officer has been charged with falsifying police reports after his unauthorized use of pepper spray against in inmate earlier this year.
Jovanny Galindo, 32, a senior correctional police officer at Mid-State Correctional Facility in Wrightstown, is accused of confronting a seated inmate and spraying oleoresin capsicum (OC) in his face without justification.
Attorney General Gurbir Grewal says that special custody and use of force reports filed by Galindo claimed he was forced to use the pepper spray after the inmate became argumentative and was verbally threatened.
