Former Gov. Chris Christie is stuck in fourth place with 6% in a New Hampshire Republican presidential primary poll released on December 21 by the University of Massachusetts Lowell Center for Public Opinion.
Donald Trump leads Nikki Haley by 30 points, 52%-22%, with Ron DeSantis in third with 10%. Vivek Ramaswamy trails with 4%, with Asa Hutchinson in sixth place with 1%
Christie has upside-down favorables of 25%-49% in New Hampshire. That makes him more popular than Vladimir Putin (5%-76%), but less popular than Volodymyr Zelenskyy (29%-31%) in New Hampshire.
Christie is at 3% among Republicans and 17% among independents who are permitted to vote in GOP primaries in New Hampshire. Trump leads Halely, 28%-22%, among independents
Among self-described moderates, Christie is at 11%; Trump has a 40%-28% lead over Haley among moderates, with DeSantis at 8%. The former New Jersey governor is polling at 2% with New Hampshire conservatives.
The percentage of likely primary voters who think Christie will win is zero.
The poll surveyed 450 likely Republican primary voters with a margin of error of +/- 5.4%.
