Booker returning to Nevada Saturday

Candidate headed to South Carolina on Monday

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker will be busy over the next several days.

On Saturday, Booker will return to Nevada for the fourth time since announcing his presidential bid in February.

He’ll start the day off at AFSCME 2020 Public Service Forum, where he will give a speech.

Following that, he will visit the Expertise Cosmetology Institute and the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center.

The senator will end his Saturday in Las Vegas by attending a service at Victory Missionary Baptist Church.

On Monday, Booker will travel to South Carolina for the ninth time since announcing his candidacy.

That day, he will speak at South Carolina State Sen. Marlon Kimpson’s presidential town hall.

Then on Tuesday, Booker will Host a morning meet and greet in Conway, meet with Lake City Mayor Lovith Anderson and hold a town hall-style event in Florence.

“Cory has always been committed to meeting voters right where they are and he is excited about this trip and the opportunity to engage, share his vision, and hear the opinions of South Carolinians,” South Carolina State Director Christale Spain said.

The weekend after next, Booker will make his sixth visit to New Hampshire, the first such visit since the second round of presidential debates, which took place earlier this week.

A schedule for his visit to the Granite State has not been released.

“Cory is excited to return to New Hampshire and build on growing momentum on the ground after he showed the country why he is the best candidate to unite our party, take on Donald Trump, and build a more fair and just nation for everyone as President,” Booker’s New Hampshire state director Erin Turmelle said.
