Cory Booker has raised more $1.1 million since Saturday as he seeks to keep his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination alive, 64% of what he needs to stay in the race.

His campaign manager said last weekend that if they didn’t raise $1.7 million before the end of September, Booker would be forced to drop his bid for the presidency.

According to the campaign, Booker raised $1,096,900 as of 11:59 PM Wednesday evening.  They say they crossed the $1.1 million threshold this morning.

“We’re grateful for the continued outpouring of support, but the work is far from done to hit our September 30th goal and keep our campaign growing well into the fall,” said Addisu Demissie, Booker’s campaign manager.

The campaign has raised 74% of their contribution online since Saturday and has received 26,584 total donations.
