Bergen County attorney and political insider Gail Gordon is featured in an Emmy nominated documentary about the life of NFL agent and philanthropist Nick Buoniconti, who died last week at age 78. HBO2 will air a special encore presentation of “The Many Lives of Nick Buoniconti” on Monday night at 8 PM.
Gordon met Buoniconti while working for Howard J. Rubinstein and Associates, a New York-based public relations firm. She left the firm to help Buoniconti start the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami, now the largest spinal cord research center in the world.
As a law student, Gordon helped establish the Mario Lemieux Foundation and worked with Lemieux purchase the Pittsburgh Penguins nineteen years ago.
