Pequannock council endorses Florance-Lynch

Melissa Florance-Lynch has won the endorsements of her four colleagues on the Pequannock borough council in her bid for Morris County freeholder.

Mayor Ryan Herd, deputy mayor Kyrle Russell, and councilmen Dave Kohle and RIch Phelan announced their support of Florance-Lynch on Wednesday.

“Serving with Melissa, we know first-hand how important it is to Melissa that the right result be reached, not just the political decision,” Herd said.  “Melissa has served our community with integrity and dedication, qualities we know she will bring to the Freeholder Board.”

Florance-Lynch is one of the candidates in a special election convention set for this Saturday.  Morris County Republicans will select a replacement for Heather Darling, who resigned her freeholder seat earlier this month to become the Morris County Surrogate.
