The latest candidate for Morris County Surrogate is Isabella Alfano, the corresponding secretary of the Parsippany Republicans.
Alfano told the Montville Republican Club on Monday that she would enter the race to succeed John Pecoraro, who is not seeking re-election after twenty years in office.
Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll (R-Morris Township) and freeholder Heather Darling are already in the race for surrogate.
Another potential candidate, Kathy Dailey, has her petitions ready but told the New Jersey Globe that she is also considering a bid for Madison Borough Council.
Michael Thompson, a trusts and estates attorney from Mendham, is seeking the Democratic nomination for Morris County Surrogate.
