Two members of Dover’s Board of Aldermen won re-election Tuesday, with another race too close to call and a tie in Ward 4.
Incumbent Adrian Ballesteros was unopposed in Ward 3, while Alderwoman Jessica Alonzo Cruz romped challenger Leslie Punte in Ward 1, beating her 146-71.
In Ward 2, Alderwoman Judith Rugg leads challenger Sol Sostre 164-135.
Alderman Marcos Tapia and challenger Arturo Santana are tied with 98 votes each in Ward 4.
A slate headed by Democratic Municipal Chairman Edward Correa will retain control of the local party.
No Republicans filed for local office in Dover.
