Democrats win last two Republican Red Bank seats

Democrats now hold all six of Red Bank’s Council seats.

Democratic challengers Katherine Triggiano and Hazim Yassin secured 2,328 and 2171 votes, respectively, to beat out Republican incumbents Michael Clancy, who got 1,335 votes, and Allison Gregory, who received 1,447 votes.

Triggiano got 30% of votes, while Yassin got 28%. Clancy received 17% of votes, and Gregory got 19%.

Independent Candidate Suzanne Viscomi got 474 votes, about 6% of the total.
