Assemblymen Roy Freiman and Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker more than doubled the fundraising of their Republican challengers, according to 11-day pre-primary and 48-hour reports filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Freiman brought reported bringing in $113,160.33 over the cycle and ended with $63,399 banked.

Zwicker raised a bit more. He reported bringing in $134,728.60 over the duration of the race and finished with $71,763.79 in his war chest.

A joint fundraising committee for the two candidates brought in an additional $35,427.49. That committee reported ending with $14,661.83 in its coffers.

Republican challenger Mark Caliguire, a Somerset County Freeholder, reported $12,900 raised over the cycle on his pre-primary report and had $2,999.78 on hand, though it’s not clear how the latter figure has changed in the days since.

Though Caliguire’s running mate, Christine Madrid, has not filed any pre-primary reports, the two Republicans’ joint fundraising committee reported raising $7,500 in a 48-hour report filed on May 24.

Save for the 48-hour report filed by the Republican joint committee, these numbers reflect where the primary campaign spending was last week and does not include expenditures or fundraising after Memorial Day weekend.

A third Republican candidate, Christian Forest Locandro has not filed any reports with ELEC.
