The National Organization for Women New Jersey PAC has endorsed Jennie Pu and Crystal Fonseca for State Assembly in the 32nd district, passing over incumbent Jessica Ramirez (D-Jersey City) in the Democratic primary.

Additional NOW-NJ endorsements went to incumbents Rosy Bagolie (D-Livingston), Alixon Collazos-Gill (D-Montclair), Yvonne Lopez (D-Perth Amboy), and Balvir Singh (D-Burlington Township).  All five have primary opponents.   The group is also backing Janine Bauer, a former Essex County Freeholder who is running for Assembly in the heavily Republican, Ocean County-based 10th district.

In addition to Ramirez, Pou and Fonseca face Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla, former Murphy administration official Katie Brennan, and Jersey City Councilman Yousef Saleh.  Ramirez is a first-term lawmaker.  Bhalla and Brennan are running as a slate; Ramirez and Saleh are on a ticket backed by Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop; and Pu and Fonseca have the endorsement of the Hudson County Democratic organization.
