The New Jersey Globe is projecting that Democratic incumbents James Kennedy and Linda Carter have been re-elected to the New Jersey State Assembly in the 22nd district.
They defeated the lone Republican candidate, former Garwood Mayor Patricia Quattrocchi.
Kennedy, a former Rahway mayor, was elected in 2015. Carter was serving on the Union County Board of Freeholders when she won a special election for Assembly last year following the death of Jerry Green.
