Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald, Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee Chairman Paul Sarlo and Senate Republican Budget Officer Steve Oroho joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, February 6 at 4 PM.

Greenwald talked about the reopening of New Jersey schools, the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, and the need for enhanced mental health services.

Sarlo and Oroho discussed how Democrats and Republicans who sometimes disagree on issues can work together, and talked about Gov. Phil Murphy’s FY 2022 budget proposal.

Greenwald, a Camden County Democrat, was first elected to the New Jersey State Assembly in 1995, at age 28.  He is the Dean of the State Assembly.

Sarlo was elected to the State Assembly in 2001 and to the Senate in 2003.  He’s been the mayor of Wood-Ridge since 2000.  He chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2008 to 2010 and has chaired the Budget and Appropriations Committee since 2010.

Oroho was elected to the State Senate in 2007 after serving as a Sussex County Freeholder and Franklin Borough Councilman.  He’s a former Senate Republican Conference Leader and is now the Senate Republican Budget Officer.

Wildstein is the editor of the New Jersey Globe.
