The New Jersey Globe is projecting that Democratic incumbents Dan Benson and Wayne DeAngelo have been re-elected to the New Jersey State Assembly in the 14th district.

The two Hamilton Democrats defeated GOP challengers Thomas Calabrese and Bina Shah.

DeAngelo was elected in 2007 and Benson in 2011.

Republicans have not won an Assembly seat in the Mercer/Middlesex district since 2005.
